Last week I had a bit of an obsession with these incredible peaches I bought.
Seriously, what is better than the smell of ripe, fresh peaches in summer?
Not only did I make a strawberry-peach-basil pie with a crumble topping for the 4th of July party we attended, but I also crafted some peach turnovers with the leftover dough. Though they are not gluten free, family members thought they were delicious! Also, on a final note, I always make my own dough- it is incredibly simple and I encourage everyone to try making their own- somehow it is more meaningful and it's just too fun not to!
