This summer I went on a floral embroidery shopping extravaganza. Loving this trend and this particular look featured below has been my go-to with the temps reaching 110 in Arizona already. A super cheap but chic look [shopping links below].
Scent for candles and perfume is derived from nature itself, the essential oils from flowers and foliage. Thus, I am sharing with you my new favorite candle company - meet Vim & Vigor Candle Co. My interior designer friend, whom is amazing and everyone should check out [House of James], sells these candles at Chestnut Fine Foods [where she fabulously added a retail boutique last summer]. I seriously fell in love with all of the unique scents, the silky wax, and the copper vessel. Kirstin [Vim & Vigor owner) is a a true aromatic artist. My favorite botanical scents are below... but my husband also loves the Tobacco + Amber scent in his office. Also, they are sold all over the USA- not just Arizona!
black currant + ivy
blood orange + lavender
This vintage print floral wrap skirt was such a find. It is incredibly comfy and I love that the tie is actually sewn in [no wind mishaps here]. I love wearing it with a white t-shirt or my blue retro onesie. I have a fun memory of these sunglasses, my mother and I purchased matching pairs [hers are black] on a mother-daughter trip to Virginia for the Field to Vase Dinner Series last year. Oh, and the purse. I had been wanting to buy this expensive round bag I found on Instagram this past spring, but walked into Target to pick up a prescription and this bag was sitting on the table [last one left] waving at me to buy it... and it was like $20. Duh, in the cart.
